The “Your Body Your Rules” project was one of the club’s most successful undertakings. It was so successful in all of the schools that it was repeated in 2019, funded by Cannock Soroptimists.
Plans were in place for a third year – but the Covid Pandemic sadly prevented its continuation. The pressures on schools since the pandemic have meant that schools have felt unable to be a part of the project.
Cannock Soroptimists would be willing to reinstate it should schools ask – particularly as this particular issue is still of concern and also teaching of the consequences of such activity is now part of the national curriculum within HRSE [Healthy Relationships and Sex Education]
