Region President Louise and Club President Janet Murfin spoke with enthusiasm and pride about the history and work of Soroptimist International at local and global levels.

There was some regret that SIGBI 87th Federation Conference  is  not taking place ‘Face to Face’ in Llandudno, however Anne MacDonald Chair of conference #SoroptimistLlandudno2021 was present  and will hopefully show some images from the event at the Virtual Conference.

Blessing and Dedication

Revd Mary Stallard, Arch Deacon of Bangor and member of SI Llandudno offered a prayer to “grant us all the courage to continue to stand for a more just, healthy and fair world: to uphold the goodness of creation, and celebrate the inspiration and delight it provides”. Pleaseclcik her for the full Prayer

Special Thanks

A special mention and thanks must go to Phil Vipond, Peter Barton-Price and the ‘Happy Valley Crew’ who did an amazing job to provide this beautiful space, tend the garden, plant the trees, and position and fix the bench with the most stunning view of the Welsh coast.

Thanks to all who made this event possible with special thanks to Kelly Bowsher for donating and engraving the memorial plaque, Region President Elect Yvonne for the delicious cake & Alan Dixon and Helen Owen for Photographs
