A fabulous evening – even better than the first one!!  Very well supported by the soroptimisters so well that they appear twice in the photos!  Mark was an excellent Beetle Manager and I worked hard as his side-kick!!  The refreshments were perfect and very ably prepared, served and cleared away by Lesley, Chris, Vanya and Lorna.  I tried to help but just got in the way really!!  The Beavers arrived in very good time as the boys had loved it so much first time round, they were impatient for it to begin!  Vanya’s Brody was pleased with his prize, one of 3 for the children and 3 for the adults.  All done and dusted and home for 10pm – a very good night’s work.  We raised £86 for Soroptimist Charities and £12 from the sale of poppies for The British Legion.
