Mon 27 Jul – St Albans Guided Walk starting at 6pm. The walk will focus on the women of St Albans. The cost is £10 each and if there is interest we could follow up with a meal in St Albans.
Tue 28 Jul – Open SIGBI Ltd Board Meeting 11.30am to 4pm. All members are welcome to attend the as Silent Observers. Book on the SIGBI Hub under Events https://thehub.sigbi.org/.
Sun 2 Aug – Rock at the Castle Hertford – https://www.hertford.gov.uk/news/rock-at-the-castle-2026/ Volunteers needed for 2 hour slots to collect money for Home-Start Herts 11.30pm-1.30pm; 1.30pm-3.30pm; 3.30pm-5.30pm; 5.30pm – 7.45pm. Mon 7 Dec – 5.30pm to 7pm Carols at St Albans City Station “Shake Rattle and Sing” – Soroptimists and friends (2 and 4 legged!) will be singing carols and festive songs at St Albans City Station in aid of the local Women’s Refuge sahwr.org.uk marking the 16 Days of Activism to end violence against women in the run up to Human Rights Day on Dec 10.

The Soroptimist Club of St Albans and District holds Club Meetings on the 2nd Monday of most months either on Zoom or at St Albans United Reformed Church Hall Greenwood, Watford Road, Chiswell Green, AL2 3HG – click here for more information https://sigbi.org/st-albans/where-we-meet. Zoom meetings are usually 7.30pm to 9pm. In person meetings are usually 7.15pm for 7.30pm start, coffee break during the meeting and end at 9.30pm. Club Members also meet on most 4th Mondays – either at St Albans URC Greenwood, on Zoom or out and about at other venues. Coffee mornings are adhoc – usually 10.30am to 12.30pm and are held at different venues. In addition there are social and fundraising events.
Our Club holds a Planning/Executive meeting at the beginning of the first week of most months – the schedule is on this website www,sigbi.org/st-albans/club-programme/exec/. We are an open and transparent Club and Members’ are encouraged to attend and participate in these meetings.
