16 Days of Action for Women and Girls

16 Days of Action 2024: Stalking and Harassment

The 16 Days of Action is an annual campaign that runs from 25th November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, to 10th December, Human Rights Day. Its aim is to raise awareness of issues around violence against women and girls.

This year, in Wiltshire and Swindon, the chosen theme for the 16 Days of Action campaign is stalking and harassment.

Across the 16 Days, local organisations will come together to raise awareness of stalking and harassment as well as how to access specialist support.

As a local Soroptimist Club we have worked with Swindon Borough and Wiltshire County Councils on projects relating to highlighting violence against women and girls, so are very pleased to support them in this campaign

Visit the 16 Days webpage for more information on this year’s local campaign: www.wiltshire-pcc.gov.uk/16-days-of-action
