Soroptimist International is a women’s organisation formed in 1921 and in 2025 there has been a Soroptimist Club in Cannock for 70 years. During those years all Soroptimists have striven to enhance the lives of women and girls across the world.
The club wishes to honour all Cannock & District Soroptimists: hence the plaque marking our 70th year, celebrating all members: ‘Women Helping Women’.
We have collaborative status with the United Nations because of the work we do to educate, empower and enable women and girls, locally, nationally and globally.
