Our Soroptimist Sensory Garden group has won 2 awards from the RHS and Cumbria in Bloom. The Sensory Garden was classed as outstanding and we received a GOLD award for biodiversity. Janet Maden from Cumbria in Bloom congratulated the members as she handed over the certificates in glorious sunshine.
Along with appreciative comments from visitors, its great to have our hard work recognised! The group were particularly pleased to receive the biodiversity award and already had plans in place for a hedgehog house!
