Following a public appeal by the Club items were collected for Barrow Women’s Centre on Sunday 7 November. The public response was brilliant, and nine full to bursting car loads of items including clothes, shoes, lamps, kettles and toiletries were delivered to Barrow. The staff at the Centre were delighted with the items.
Twelve members were involved in the sorting and transport of the items which was hard work but good fun!
