Ten members took part in letter writing as part of the Write for Rights campaign organised by Amnesty International. Members wrote letters of solidarity to women and girl victims of Human Rights abuses and letters to officials appealing for action. A total of 73 letters were written and we also wrote E mails and Social Media posts.
Dec 10th is the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which set out, for the first time, fundamental human rights to be universally protected. It has been translated into 500 languages and is the most translated document in the world.
