Six members plus 2 partners enjoyed a walk from Cartmel to Bigland Tarn and back. Unfortunately the spectacular views usually seen from Howbarrow and Bigland were shrouded in mist, but the beautiful wildflowers incuding primroses, cowslips, marsh marigolds, wild daffodils, bluebells, wood anenomes and wood sorrell more than made up for it and everyone learnt something new about birds, trees and flowers. There was ample time to chat and the walk rounded off with a drink at the pub!
