A fantastic day at Cartmel races on 31st May with the amazing staff and volunteers from Barrow Women’s Centre collecting from the generous public. A staggering final total of £1436 was raised during the day. More than ever women are in need in Barrow so it was great to be able to help and have fun. We were helped out by the trainer J.J.O’Shea who donated some of his winnings when his horse Envious Editor won! Some of the staff judged the best turned out horse for the last race!
