On 19th October members and guests enjoyed an evening with a difference presented by our member Jeanette who has a wealth of experience in hairdressing. Hair Razor was a celebration of hairdressing and Jeanette demonstrated different styles and techniques and talked about her experiences including the great value of apprenticeships. The audience was entertained, sitting back in a relaxed atmosphere with a glass of prosecco looking back at styles from the past and current techniques, presented in a fun way. The models sitting on stage reading Cumbria Life added a feeling of actually being in a salon!
£355 was raised for our charities which this year include Tap Twinning when we will twin a tap in Cartmel Village Hall with one in a developing country.
