Members donated and packed 40 Christmas hampers for needy families, and these were distributed by the staff of Barrow Women’s Centre in the run up to Christmas. It was quite an undertaking purchasing all the items required but well worthwhile. Lots of members were involved fundraising, purchasing items, collecting donations, covering boxes and then packing the hampers
The Club was really grateful to pupils of Kirkbie Kendal school, Kath Horsfall for the eggs and Fletchers for their help providing boxes.
