The first club walk was organised by Sally in 2017 starting at Colton . Members, partners and friends enjoyed gorgeous views, sunshine, great company, a pub lunch and saw an osprey!
We then had occasional walks including to Piel Island and Birkrigg Common.
During Covid members felt the need to get together outside to maintain contact so the club walks were restarted.
In August 2020 members walked from Cartmel to Holker.
In September 2020 members walked along the river in Kendal rounded off with al fresco Fish and Chips!
On September 16 six members did a 7 mile round walk from Cartmel to Howbarrow
In Oct 2020 six members walked in separate pairs on a 4.5 mile circuit from Bouth to Hay Bridge
and 8 members walked in 2 separate groups on a round walk up Hampsfell
In Nov 2020 members walked up to the Hoad at Ulverston
In December 2020 members walked on the beach at Askham
In April 2021 5 members walked up Whitbarrow
In May 2021 6 members walked from Sedgwick in Levens Park , and on to the old canal route and back via the river Kent
