Soroptimists are calling on all governments, local, national and devolved, for a systematic mandatory approach to gender impact assets as part of every policy decision.
Soroptimists are always looking for ways to improve equality. Current legislative and policy frameworks go some way but they don’t go far enough and the UN says that no
country has achieved, or is anywhere close to achieving, gender equality. Which is why we are addressing the issue with a call for a mandatory and consistent approach to
gender equality assessment.
