More Overnight Bags Bound for Salisbury Hospital

At a productive ‘packing evening’ in late May at Frances’ home, Fay, Annie, Briony and Frances put together a further batch of 43 overnight bags for Salisbury Hospital.

Eighteen of the bags are pictured here, as they were delivered to the Durrington Ward. They will be made available to women who unexpectedly have to stay overnight after a routine ‘day’ procedure for observation or tests.

The first 22 bags were used very quickly and were received gratefully by staff on the ward. The items in the bags were donated by Salisbury members, friends, family, work colleagues and by members of the public at the collection point in the Five Rivers Centre.
