Streetlight audits
We conducted two surveys of the central city including the ring road roundabouts in 2022 and 2023. We wanted to see how many street lights were not working and report them. We also identified places where more lighting was needed. We found the underpasses used by pedestrians to negotiate the ring road roundabouts are well lit, but that they need wall mounted mirrors to allow users to see around corners.
Our report was presented to the City Council who were grateful for our input.
Safe Places
This initiative has been relaunched by Safer and Supportive Salisbury. Anyone needing help or support can find this at any space displaying the sign. Staff should be trained to deal with those seeking help.
