Each year we collect ‘gently used’ bras from Salisbury and surrounding areas. The bras are sorted, counted and bagged at our annual ‘Bras and Bubbly’ held in July. The bags are then transported to distribution points.
For the first few years the bras were taken to Edinburgh, to Smalls for All, but the distance became a problem! We now support Afreebra, which ships bras to Africa from the Hounslow area. Bras are distributed by partner organisations, often as an incentive for women to attend a programme.
