This year’s annual Soroptimist Christmas carol singing at St Albans City Station was a great success raising a massive £576.04 for the St Albans and Hertsmere Women’s Refuge – this is the most we’ve every collected!
We are sure that our four legged friend Fiona made all the difference and she would like to send a big thank you and wish the generous St Albans Commuters a very merry Christmas.
Recent funding cuts and increased demand mean that the Refuge needs additional funding now more than ever before.

Over supper Club Members made donations of £100, in lieu of sending one another Christmas cards, to the International President’s annual December 10th appeal ‘Educate To Lead: Nepal‘ addressing the human rights issues that follow a disaster.
