Ensuring vulnerable women were not forgotten, Swindon Soroptimists members Lydia and Jackie visited the Swindon Nelson Trust Women’s Centre just before the ‘Lockdown in 2020 to present 25 individual Easter eggs for the women who use the Centre and its services, as well as chocolates for the hardworking staff.
This is the 4th year running Swindon Soroptimists have brought Easter cheer to the Centre and Team Lead Vee Cooper thanked the Soroptimists saying “You have made another holiday special for those who are unable to share this time with loved ones, and/or may not have the funds to celebrate this time with their loved ones. You have put a smile on women’s and children’s faces”.
