Soroptimists in Action

On 17th July, SIGBI Day of Action, we took part in litter picks in and around Aberdeen. It was a beautiful day and passers by were very appreciative of our efforts to keep the local environment clean and tidy.

A few days later on another gloriously sunny day, members met to enjoy a plastic free picnic. The challenge of Plastic Free July is to reduce single-use plastic waste everyday at home, work and school. Not an easy challenge but an important one so that we can be part of the solution to plastic pollution and keep our streets, oceans and communities pollution free.
