Soroptimist International Centenary 1921 – 2021

 

Soroptimist International Bournemouth together with Soroptimists from across the world join together to celebrate 100 years of Soroptimist International (SI) and celebrate a ‘Bright Past’ and a ‘Brilliant Future’. This is symbolised on the banner above.

We will be celebrating members, past and present, as part of the #WhoIsShe campaign – you can see them on the drop down menu to ‘Our Inspirational Members’

On the 17th May we made a presentation to the West Hants Tennis club in celebration of this important centennial year and in recognition of the club’s continuing hosting of our monthly meetings.

On 21st June we will be making a presentation to local Hotel Miramar.  The hotel has hosted club ‘milestone’ events over the years and members are in awe of the hotel’s continuing hospitality.

On 25th July members celebrated together with family and friends by holding a picnic at St Peter’s School, Bournemouth.
