Our grand finale fundraiser on behalf of the Pathway Project took place on Friday 28th February in the sumptuous surroundings of Swinfen Hall Hotel. Welcomed with a glass of bubbly and to the sounds made by a very skilled 15 year old saxophonist, we were guided into the ballroom by our City Town Crier, Ken Knowles in his evening finery. During a lovely two course meal we were wowed by table magicians, particularly the young man who had been supported by Pathways who told us correctly on every occasion which card we were holding. Jackie, the Pathways Project Refuge Manager told us about the work of the project and how they aim to turn victims into survivors at a time when it was even more vital than ever to support the families affected by domestic abuse.
