Soroptimist International London Anglia Region  is deeply saddened to learn that Her Majesty the Queen passed away on Thursday 8th September 2022

Her Majesty has reigned for 70 years and has been a part of all our lives.

Our thoughts are with the Royal Family at this sad time.

We welcome the reign of King Charles III.

Now that we know the date of the Queen’s funeral will be on Monday 19th September we will announce this weekend if our Officers’ Council meeting planned for Saturday 17th September will go ahead at Newnham College or alternatively via Zoom or whether we cancel.  The Government Outreach Workshop had been cancelled as it is Government protocol to not hold meetings until after Queen Elizabeth’ funeral.  We will update this page shortly.
