The Soroptimist Quiz Night on Sat 18 April was a great success raising a fabulous £1014.58! This money will educate teenage girls in Kenya.
The Quiz Night was great fun again with a packed hall of quizzers at Homewood Rd, St Albans. The money raised will pay for the education of 4 teenage girls in Kenya where all secondary education has to be paid for. These girls are supported by the Club’s International Charity – International Peace Initiatives – a Kenyan charity transforming the lives of girls and HIV-positive women – see www.ipeacei.org www.sigbi.org/st-albans-and-district/our-international-project
