Club Year 2020-2021 – Shared Presidents and Lockdown
The Club has six Members sharing the role of President for this Club year 2020/21 May to Aug – Katherine Clark and Sarah Lichman Sep to Dec – Denise Powell and Ameeta Sabharwal Jan to Apr – Barbara Saunders and Jane Slatter

The Club Programme is on the website www.sigbi.org/st-albans/club-programme it includes virtual meetings on Zoom until we are able to meet again face to face.
The Club’s AGM was cancelled this year due to COVID-19 – an event where our Members would have said thanks to the outgoing President Katherine Clark, celebrated all of our achievements in the year just gone and welcomed in the new Club Year. We were however able to deliver Kat’s thank you gift to her and she is pictured here holding the picture – staying safe and well in her own home.

The Club’s main focus for the year is to support one another and the causes close to the Club’s heart. The support of friends is vital in ensuring that we can all come through this crisis mentally healthy as well as physically strong. Many of the charities we support are struggling financially and many are also extra busy helping victims from the increase in domestic abuse during the crisis so they need our help now more than ever.
