Eltham Palace, the Curry Sark and a River Thames trip – September 2015
After an early start on the 7th September we arrived at Eltham Palace for a guided tour around this gem of 1930’s architecture, style and taste, with the first stop the Medieval Hall. The sumptuous Reception Hall contained specially commissioned furniture – Oh – If only we could sit on it!
Then we went to have a look at the Cutty Sark. The outing finished with a most informative boat trip along a now very quiet River Thames.
