100 for 100

In 2021, Soroptimist International will celebrate 100years of soroptimism. We are looking forward to undertaking a number of Programme Action activities with a Centenary theme.  As we went into lockdown we had already set the targets of 100 trauma teddies, collecting 100 tins for the food banks, 100 items of sanitary products and many other ideas. Members have also set themselves a challenge for the Club to read 100 books, which we have now achieved as you will see below.

At our Zoom meeting on Tuesday, 22nd September,  SI Newcastle member Pam, updated us all on one of our challenges to celebrate 100 years of Soroptimism by reading 100 books and this was achieved on Tuesday! So now onwards to our next 100

A list of our 100 books and comments by club members can be seen in the attached file.
