SI Newcastle upon Tyne – were you?
Why were we marching?
- To raise awareness of the level of violence against women and girls taking place across the world and make sure people keep talking about it.
- To demand that local leaders, politicians and decision makers take action to make our homes, streets and institutions safe for all women and girls.
- To remember all those lost to gender based violence and show solidarity to all those fighting to end it.
