Members were delighted to ‘Showcase Soroptimist International (SI) Perth’ by inviting members and non-members to come along to an interactive facilitated meeting; to find out more about our organisation; to explore how we can work in partnership to fulfil our interest in co-creating inclusive communities, working together in common goals; how to make ourselves attractive to busy women who need to maximise their time – and get something out of their activities, for themselves and help SI Perth shape its future. A big ask but enthusiastic non-Soroptimist facilitator Jinty ensured we met the aims of the evening and several non-Soroptimists, including Jinty, expressed interest in what we do, wanting to find out even more and possibly become involved in short, sharp projects.
Soroptimists also took the opportunity to wear something green to support Mental Health Awareness Week
