SI St Albans Carols 2023One commuter said “well done – you sound great!”. Soroptimist Jane Slatter said “Everyone was so generous. We were recorded on quite a few smart phones and some people joined in by singing and dancing with us. The staff at the station made us really welcome and seemed to be enjoying having a bit of entertainment while they were working!” This photo includes a Member of St Albans City Station staff joining in the festive fun!

St Albans and Hertsmere Womens RefugeFunding cuts and increased demand mean that Refuges need money from our fundraising now more than ever before so we were thrilled that travellers were so generous. If anyone wants to make a donation after the event please click here sigbi.org/st-albans/donate

This event is timed on the closest Monday to Human Rights Day when Soroptimists all around the world take action and is part of the “Orange the World Campaign” – 16 Days of Activism from 25 Nov to 10 Dec to end gender-based violence.
