The Big Orange Party on Sat 3 Dec was a great success raising an amazing £682 for local domestic abuse charities!
Everyone had a great time partying AND raising funds for Hertfordshire Domestic Abuse charities as part of Soroptimist International St Albans and District’s #OrangeTheWorldHerts campaign. People there were a real mix from the community, with lived experience and local supporters, campaigners and friends.
Uncle Tim’s Total Kitchen served delicious burgers and hot dogs. The raffle was really popular. For the World Cup fans there was live football showing on the big screen, and the dancing got going with a great disco – what more could anyone want?!
Soroptimist St Albans Club Member Louise Marron organised this fabulous event. She was supported by other Soroptimists on the night – left to right in the picture above are Janet Audley-Charles, Barbara Saunders, Louise, Denise Powell, Janet Tansley, Sarah Lichman and Debbie Tankard.
