Club Meeting in Lovely New Venue – Cottonmill Community and Cycling Centre

On Monday 11 September we held our inaugural meeting at our new Club Venue – Cottonmill Community and Cycling Centre,  12 Old Oak, Cottonmill Lane, St Albans AL1 2EF.

You can see from the photos what a lovely room we are booked to meet in now (2nd Monday of most months – always check the programme for details – https://sigbi.org/st-albans-and-district/club-programme/), and we had lots of positive feedback. Being September many of our Members were away, and often meetings with smaller numbers are more intimate so the group really enjoyed a evening together to catch up after the summer break.

SISTA Club new venue CCCCSarah, Jean, Janet and Denise reported back enthusiastically about their experiences at the Soroptimist International Convention in Dublin in July – click here to read more  https://sigbi.org/st-albans-and-district/2023/dublin/ Barbara and Sarah are pictured here holding up our “Orange the World Project” poster that was on display in the exhibition centre in Dublin, and which had received a lot of attention from delegates attending from around the world.

Barbara chaired the meeting and swiftly went through Club Business so there was time to go through forthcoming events – don’t forget to check the Club Programme for updates so you don’t miss anything!https://sigbi.org/st-albans-and-district/club-programme/
