New Venue from Sep – Cottonmill Community and Cycling Centre

Cottonmill Community and Cycling CentreNEW VENUE for St Albans Soroptimists from September

Our new meeting venue from September will be the Cottonmill Community and Cycling Centre (known as CCCC).

Our last meeting at the Greenwood Park URC will be the potluck supper on the 24th of July. This is because the URC have plans to rebuild their hall and so it will not be available to hire.

You can see from the photos and website that there is a lovely community hall which will be a great meeting place for us (we will be using the larger section). We will have a direct hatch to the kitchen making our all-important coffee break really easy and there is a large spacious car park.

Our member Janet Audley-Charles is the chair of the Sopwell Residents Association and was very involved with the Sopwell Community Trust campaign to build this wonderful community resource.  At that time, we did donate to their funds which means that we have a named brick in the hall where we will meet.

There is ample car parking and a clear signpost to the carpark, but you will need to use your satnav or google maps to start with. The full address is:
