Staying in hospital for weeks on end can be boring at the best of times but patients recovering from Covid-19, who are not even allowed visitors, may have even less to occupy them than usual.
We’ve been putting together special packs to help these patients pass the time. We include a book of puzzles or colouring pictures, luxury hand lotions (for the ladies) and shaving equipment (for the gents) and other treats, and offer them to Surrey County Royal Hospital for giving to long-stay patients. In this way we hope to bring a little joy to those suffering at this difficult time and reassure them they are not forgotten.
