In Spring 2021 we funded three new latrines in conjunction with Toilet Twinning. They are in Nigeria, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo, and very smart they look too!
This project directly supports UN Sustainability Goal 6 – Clean water and sanitation – the lack of which disproportionately affects women and girls in developing economies.
These latrines are in addition to the school toilet block in Rumphi District, Malawi, which we funded in July 2019. The map below shows where all “our” toilets are.
