Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund

Anne who is a member and Past President of SI Mansfield & District
along with her husband Mike organise set and run a quiz night which includes a
Pie & pea supper. All monies raised at this popular annual event goes to
the Presidents chosen charity which this year was Diabetes UK. Part of the
funds (£650) raised was given to the Juvenile Diabetic Research Fund (JDRF).
Anne’s granddaughter was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes at 11 years of age.
As well as working for Soroptimist charities, Anne & Mike fundraise for the
JDRF
