TWO joint presidents were appointed at
the AGM of Soroptimist International Mansfield
and District.
The two presidents, Sue Manchester and
Julie Howe-Shilton, supporting their joint
presidents’ charities:
- Liver transplant/organ donation
- Woodland Cafe at Portland Training
College - Women’s Refuge
- British Acoustic Neuroma Association
- Eve Appeal.
The theme of the year was spreading
kindness, not Covid.
Julie’s year as sole president has been
deferred to 2021-2022 because of the
unpredictability of the coronavirus situation,
restrictions and adhering to Government
guidelines.
