Soroptimist International Southport is part of this world-wide organisation – not only are you a member of a club, you will also be a member of the South Lancashire region and of SIGBI.
Many congratulations to Carol Cookson on her election in September 2021 as the President of Soroptimist International Southport for the club’s 90th year. This is Carol’s second tenure as President and she is preparing to continue until April 2023. By co-incidence, during Carol’s previous presidential year, SI Southport celebrated its 80th anniversary. There have been some global changes in the last 10 years, not to mention some major changes in all aspects of Soroptimist International. She brings a wealth of experience and great ideas to the club and, as she has been Membership Officer, she is hoping to encourage more new members to the club and to the world of Soroptimism.
Congratulations, Carol, you have the support of all your members!
