Our ‘Blankets for Bliss’ project gives an outlet for our keen knitters to contribute to the 1000 blankets a year that Bliss donate to special care baby units across the South of England.
Being the mother of a premature or seriously ill baby must be unbelievably distressing but a colourful handknitted blanket covering their little one, provides just a hint of comfort and the knowledge that a stranger also cares about them.
We were delighted to meet our target of knitting 60 blankets in celebration of our recent 60th year.
