We welcome enthusiastic women either living or working in the Surrey Hills who want to participate in our projects that support and empower women both locally and worldwide. If you have skills and knowledge that you would like to use outside the workplace, and wish to meet like-minded women, then we hope you will contact us with a view to coming along to one of our meetings and getting to know us better.
Members of SI Surrey Hills enjoy a variety of activities – serious and rewarding work and also social and convivial events that are often part of our fund-raising programme. Some of these are held in conjunction with other Clubs in our Region.
And let’s be upfront about the cost – it is £10 per month. £10 per month – that is less than the price of a cup of coffee a week! That covers the cost of the meeting room, the speakers, donations to three Soroptomist charities (the Diamond Education grant; the Disaster Relief Fund and the Benevolent Fund); access to the Regional Meetings and to the annual Conference. Is that not a small price to pay to belong to the largest womens’ service organisation in the world (and one of its’ best kept secrets)??
