The SIGBI Federation Conference for 2023 was held in London. This was the first London conference and the first face to face Conference since 2019.
SI Surrey Hills members enjoyed a weekend, full of discussion and information. Speakers included Louisa Rolfe, Assistant Commissioner in the Metropolitan Police, Hasina Safi the former Acting Minister of Women Affairs in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and Tracey Horner, Head of LendwithCare the microfinance initiative.
The programme ended with our very own member Ruth becoming President for the next 2 years. Her first conference in 2024 will be in Edinburgh.
