Region Dates
The Region holds it’s main meetings four times per year – a mix of Zoom and face-to-face events at different venues. They are inspirational “mini” Soroptimist Conferences and anyone is welcome to attend. Sat 14 Mar – SILC Region Conference and Celebration of International Women’s Day Lancaster Hall London 10am to 3.30pm – click here for more information: https://sigbi.org/london-chilterns/iwd26. The theme for IWD 2026 is “Rights. Justice. Action. For ALL Women and Girls”. There is no charge for this event which includes refreshments and a sandwich lunch. In the morning we will hear from Barbara Jeremiah and Kay Linnell: “A Hobby That Got Out of Hand : our part in getting justice for the Sub Postmasters in the scandal of the Post Office fraud.” In the afternoon we will hear from Lidia Put: “Resilient by Choice: Ukrainian Women and the Power of Hope”.
