A further 173 dresses have been sent to SI Thames Valley stalwart Gill Curry, who will pack the dresses in recycled plastic olive oil drums. A shopping list is gathered for each individual villages and their requirements are met. From the North East we have also received 400 knitted hats for babies and the elderly, these have been sent to Maidenhead via another friend of Soroptimist. We must thank all the ladies who have sewn for this project and to Katie who has arranged for her brother to transport the clothes. Working in partnership with members of the public raises the Soroptimist profile.
