Staying in hospital for weeks on end can be boring at the best of times but patients who were recovering from Covid-19 and were not even allowed visitors, may have even less to occupy them than usual.
We put together special packs to help these patients pass the time. We included a book of puzzles or colouring pictures, luxury hand lotions (for the ladies) and shaving equipment (for the gents) and other treats, and offered them to Surrey County Royal Hospital for the long-stay patients. In this way we hoped to bring a little joy to those in hospital at that difficult time.
