Smalls for All is a small charity providing new and gently used bras and new knickers to women and girls in Africa. New items are donated to enable women and girls in Africa to attend school and retain their dignity when out of their homes and to help protect women from unwanted attention. The ‘gently worn’ bras are sent to help people in developing economies like Africa earn an income by selling bras.
Our first collection in November 2018 was in Godalming and supported by the Borough Hall and Surrey Butchers. We were delighted to collect 69 bras and 25 pairs of knickers.
Phase 2 began in January 2019 when we were able to install a collection bin at the Royal Surrey County Hospital.
Phase 3 has seen us collect and send over 1,000 new knickers and lightly used bras to Smalls for All. Most recently, donations were received at our stall at the 2024 Godalming Town Show.
We will continue to support this thoughtful and inspiring initiative.
