Ask me why I’m a Soroptimist: May 2016

During May 2016 SIGBI challenged its members to reverse the decline in membership through advertising, holding events and through social media channels. The key slogan was ‘Ask me why I’m a Soroptimist’ seen here on the T shirts.

Bingley SI had a full page advert in the May edition of the Bingley Review with quotes from members about why they had become a Soroptimist and enjoyed being a member of the Bingley club.

Some examples given were “I’m a Soroptimist because I care about the future for women”, “It makes it possible to work for the good of the world’s underprivileged, making wonderful friendships at the same time” and “I like to become involved with my local community.”
