Programme Areas
We choose projects to work on that tackle one of the six programme areas identified by Soroptimist International:
- Advocacy
- Economic Empowerment
- Education
- Environmental Sustainability
- Food Security and Healthcare
- Violence and Conflict Resolution
We are an international women’s movement and together, our members are a global voice for women. Our achievements have a huge impact on the lives of women and girls. We are an organisation with special consultative status at the United Nations (UN)through the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC). As such, we also support and celebrate many designated UN Days and the UN’s 5P’s.
