Anusha Santhirasthipam, President Elect of SI South West Pacific, issued an invitation to all Members to attend the 21st Soroptimist International Convention, which will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 19th to 21st July 2019.
The staging of the 21st SI Convention in Malaysia is historic as it will be held for the first time in Asia. For Malaysia, it is indeed a great honour, which they embrace with passion and commitment and all efforts will be taken to ensure the convention will be unique, memorable, with hospitality as a key ingredient, living up to the Malaysian DNA, “Malaysia Truly Asia”. The adrenalin is already on a high as they work towards a programme of fun and friendship among a diverse congregation of members from around the world, while ensuring the learning and experience will be extensive at a relatively low cost.
It is fervently hoped that many members from the 4 Federations of Soroptimist International will save the date and also keep yourself updated, as new developments are being unveiled on our website. However, be assured that there are a few secrets up our sleeves, so that there will be more pleasant surprises when you are at the Convention. We look forward to welcoming you to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in July 2019 to fully experience and savour the spirit of it all.
