SI Heswall and District were key to setting up Tomorrows Women Wirral, which supports vulnerable women in the area and helps them to find employment as well as addressing some of their issues. There are now as average of 550 women who attend every week.
This year, the charity introduced New Beginnings Counselling, which the Club has been supporting by holding several events to fundraise, They recognised that the most traumatised women would benefit from individual professional counselling, and the service is provided by professional counsellors who are volunteers but there are costs involved in professional fees and insurances.
